I have been described as a warm, caring, intuitive therapist. My clients report feeling seen, heard and hopeful from our sessions together. My specialties include life transitions, depression, anxiety, infertility, pregnancy and parenting, relationship issues, spirituality and meaning making.
I have been a licensed psychotherapist in the state of MA since 1993. I received my Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grinnell College. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and personalized, pulling from Developmental Psychology, Family Systems Theory, Somatic and Mindfulness Based approaches.
My Practice I am currently accepting new clients for individual treatment.
At this time, I accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna and United Health Insurances. However, if you have an insurance plan with out of network benefits, I can provide the paperwork necessary for partial reimbursement. Please check your insurance benefits prior to our first session to determine your mental health coverage, the amount of your co-pay, the amount of your annual deductible, and whether your deductible has been met.
